*Upcoming Event:*
The south shore monthly Thirsty Thursday will mix it up a bit. Let’s try and meet on the outside patio of the Bayou Beer <bayoubeergarden.com/>Garden <bayoubeergarden.com/>. 326 N Norman C Francis Parkway, New Orleans, LA 70119. We will meet up there for the* South Shore Thirsty Thursday* on January 19th from 1700-2000. Look forward to seeing y’all there.
*Assistance Needed:*
See the below email from the Drill team. They are still not 100% on getting academy funding locked down to cover transportation and lodging. Any assistance we can provide to them in terms of donations they could use. After speaking with Morgan they will need help with sponsored meals. Transportation around town. Parade viewing locations for Sunday/Monday. While my weekend is pretty well booked, I (Nick) am happy to coordinate this effort. If someone wants to step up and handle it, I would appreciate it.
We are still working on the funding needed to make it Mardi Gras event. However, if we make it we would be *VERY* interested in participating on Saturday. The current estimated itinerary is:
– Arrive Thursday Feb 16 – Compete Friday Feb 17 ALL Day – Awards event Saturday Feb 18 1800-2000 – Sunday/Monday Feb 19-20 Free – Depart Tuesday Feb 21
